This game is so cute, dun and simple. :)
So cool and fun, I love the style and color palette!
if you make it mobile compatible i will never stop playing (thx for the cool game)
great cozy visuals and setting!
The look and feel here is really good, but I feel the fundamental gameplay loop is lacking. Strength upgrades don't do anything past the first two levels (since you never hit enough to complete an action in one cycle), the clock doesn't actually impact the gameplay at all, and you end up just having to sit and wait for about 5 minutes with no real progression to finish the game. (also why is this tagged as a platformer?)
I think there's a great game in here, it just needs a little more thought put into the actual gameplay.
I would recommend:
- making strength have more impact but also be the most expensive upgrade as it is the fundamental time gate for the rest of the game
- Fixing the extra drop chance formula so more than the first 3 upgrades matter for bonus drops. This could potentially be extended to include a chance of a 3rd or 4th drop
- Add scaling to the levels so it feels like there's a reason to buy the xp upgrades
These are all very solid suggestions, thanks! I do plan on updating the game once I get the chance (which might be very soon!).
This game is great, except the figures had glitchy edges.
Was there inspiration from Gagonfe (made Rocket Rats and Shelldiver)? I feel like you got inspiration from him because the style of the UI and the gameplay are nearly identical.
Yeah, I’m a big fan of his games and the juiciness of his style. Shelldiver is what got me interested in the incremental genre in the first place.
Funn
This is so good!
This is so good game with good vibes, how to pass 10min in relax. I just have 1 suggestion to make darker the power up you cannot do anymore I keep controlling if I maxed some of those. Then I just notice one little sprite not aligned well, the amount of coconuts the 4th tree has when you maxed them is overlapping the last dot of the 3rd tree. I hope I explain myself good
How do you create the animations?
I create art in GIMP, test some animations in Aseprite, but the bulk of animating is done inside the game dev software itself (Construct 3).
How did you create such a polished skill tree in C3? I can never find a tutorial or anything I can use as a reference.
I published the source files on my Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/collection/2053809?view=expanded
The basic gist is, each node except the first one has a parent node (right click -> Hierarchy -> add selection). When a parent node is clicked on, all its children nodes get unlocked and can now be interacted with.
Nodes have special parameters: Name + Description, Level, Upgrade Stat + Upgrade Number, Cost + Currency Type.
I understand, I'll try doing it that way, thanks!
nice, i saw it on the front page!
nice gam

Such a cute game, thank you for making this!
Lovely Simple Game, Really love the Music and Overall Aesthetic of This Game!!
What a satisfying game!! While it only took a few minutes to beat, I was still fully engaged with the lore and gameplay. With some improvements to late-game pricing and upgrades, and possibly an endgame of some point, this could definitely be better, but for two weeks, this is a very solid game!! Great job!
ok i've tested and there is no secret if you find 1,000 coconuts.
I'll go find 10,000 and report back
I love the dedication :D There might be a secret if you collect 1,000,000 coconuts, though.
(There isn’t. Please don’t try it!)
That sounds exactly like something a person hiding a million coconut secret would say...
Promete lo que es, un juego tranquilo de atrapar cocos. Lo único que me hubiera gustado es que fuera más largo.
Why was I so addicted to this game!
Tightly designed short game with potential for expansion, though it stands alone very well as an example of incremental gaming. Very simple to pick up, no overwhelming map of sprawling skill trees to squint at, clear goal. While simple, the linear gameplay is a benefit here to its coziness. Lovely palette, good sprite design, good music, did not frustrate me at any point, 10/10.
goooooooddddd gaaaaameee
its amazing that this was made in 2 weeks this is really one of the best cozy games i've ever played 💗
this game is super chill, i love it!!
yo bro this is sick holy, i think its kinda funny how the original loop of the game doesnt make it boring, i abs would buy it if it was on steam by like 6 (maybe 7) bucks for a full ver!!
Very sweet and relaxed game, love the art and the colour palette, and the music was the perfect choice :D
This game was super chill and fun to get through. Maybe a bit unbalanced, but not in a bad way. My only suggestion would be to find a way to make the upgradable items in the skill tree easier to identify.
Very comfy and relaxing! Thank you very much for this lovely game.
I checked out Cozy Coco Catcher and honestly, it looks really fun and relaxing. I like how simple the concept is, but you still have that upgrade progression that gives you a reason to keep playing. Making it in just two weeks for a jam is pretty impressive too!
By the way, are you currently looking to hire or work with an animator, developer, or artist for this game or any future projects?
Fun lil game! I ended up enjoying gathering the coconuts so much I went back for me, even when I had unlocked my ticket home
Hey, that game is really cute. I instantly had to finish the whole game :) Impressive that you did that within 2 weeks!
I just checked out Cozy Coco Catcher and this is honestly such a cute little concept The fact that you made it in only two weeks for the jam is pretty impressive too. I really like how simple and relaxing the whole upgrade-and-collect loop feels, and the beachy style fits the game perfectly.
Since you handled both the art and code yourself, I was curious if you’re planning to keep doing everything solo or if you might need an extra hand at some point. Do you ever look for artists, animators, developers, or other creative help for your projects? If so, I’d be happy to hear about it!
