(Slight  SPOILER ALERT)

I LOVED THE NEW UPDATE!!!<33 it was so interesting, holy twist! I feel bad for him but also alittle skeptical.. I was lowkey have a crisis lmao

I hope he’s not evil or anything… that would be so sad.. but his chibi form is so cute!

Anyways have some fanart cutie!! Great work and warm regards❤️

(2 edits)

I’m very happy to hear that! And I hope I can maintain that sentiment throughout the final chapter as well, ultimately leaving you to decide for yourself how you interpret Myrddin’s actions.

And what a wonderful piece of artwork! Thank you so much!

I particularly love the detail of the “thinking” bubbles, as well as the idea of the Player’s “hand” being represented as an actual visible object that Myrddin can interact with.

I honestly don’t know why I never thought of it that way myself… I really like the idea.

Once again, thank you very much!

And warm reg-

…

Oh.

Well then… warmer regards!

(+1)

Glad you like it hehe ❤️ i liked the idea of him interacting with the hand/mouse too so I drew it lol 🦭 excited to see more!! WARMERER REGARDS

(+3)

pleasepleaseplease even if it serves no purpose add an option to call him cute when he is in his chibi for, I will give you my kiddney if you do it plsplsplspls

Maybe I’m jumping the gun a little too much right now, but are we sure no AI was used for the art? I’m just a little skeptical and I apologize if this seems rude, I really don’t mean it to be! I just want to know since looking at the guy’s hands look… very melty, to say the least. As well as the clothing, it’s wrinkles and overall shading just… feel off, y’know? Sorry if this seems rude, again!

Greetings!

I hope my reply does not come across as overly direct either.

Essentially, you are asking me to confirm that no generative AI was used for the artwork.

I have addressed similar questions before, and the store page itself also explicitly states that the artwork is not AI-generated.

Rather than simply repeating that confirmation, though, I think it would be more useful to explain what that statement is based on:

  1. The majority of the artwork in the game was commissioned directly from a freelance illustrator whose publicly available portfolio extends back several years. They also have an extensive history of completed commissions and consistently positive feedback from previous and returning clients.

  2. For every commissioned piece, including variations that were ultimately not used, I received the original PSD files. These are not flattened images placed inside PSD documents. They contain meaningful and organized layers separating elements such as linework, coloring, shading, lighting, effects, backgrounds, and other stages of the artwork’s construction.

  3. I received drafts throughout the commissioning process rather than only receiving the final illustrations. A number of these drafts have also been shared publicly through development logs and the Tumblr page.

  4. Process recordings show the artwork developing from pose guides and linework through flat colors, shading, highlights, and final rendering. One such recording was publicly posted only recently (on Tumblr), entirely independently of these concerns, and I have additional process recordings stored privately.

  5. I also asked the illustrator directly, well before this comment, whether generative AI had been used in the creation of the artwork. They explicitly confirmed that it had not.

I cannot provide a detailed technical explanation for every brush stroke or rendering decision, as I was not the illustrator responsible for these pieces.

What I can provide is the documentation, work-in-progress material, source files, and process evidence upon which my confidence in that statement is based.

If your concern is based on something more concrete than certain aspects simply “feeling off,” please feel free to provide the specific basis for that concern.

If you would prefer to discuss the matter directly, and this applies equally to anyone else with similar concerns, you are also welcome to contact me at tomyself.works@gmail.com

Warm regards!

AWESOME GAME I love it so much

(+1)

Who is the artist of the assets drawn in this game? Just wanted to ask. Or are you the one that draw all of it :O

(3 edits) (+1)

Hey!

Most of the art assets in IWM were created in collaboration with a talented freelance artist I work with, Ngochau.

For a complete overview of everyone who contributed to the game, you can find the full credits within the game files under “Credits.”

Warm regards!

(+1)

Yipee! thank you! I really like your game, it's such a great concept and storyline :D

(+1)

Very interesting code in the description! I wonder what it could mean in future updates.

(1 edit) (+1)

100/10, Myrddin destroyed me for being short. But he is a silly little guy, so it's okay. Such a great wholesome game

Oh god

(+2)

This is an incredible game, I've been hooked for months and I want to thank the creator for this magnificent work of art. The story line is insane and I'm probably too at this point but in a good way! Also yes Myrddin you look perfect.

(+2)

Made a whole ass account just now just to comment how PEAK this game is. The game did not become boring or slow at any point, the story was incredibly engaging and well put together. The lore is insane and the characters/different voices are very easy to recognize, making it easy to read and follow along. The art is insanely great as well, and I like how the distorted parts were used at the right times. Even the damn MINIGAMES were a great touch, I wasn't expecting like 3 different minigames cuz it seems like a LOT to code (but maybe that's just me projecting my laziness lol). This game is obv creepy, but also has a great charm to it, and their was clearly a lot of effort put in. The sound design is also amazing! I am mortified, 10/10, can't wait for more:D

(+2)

it's wonderful please keep up the good work (●'◡'●)

Best game ever, 10000000/10, love this silly little guy >.

I really love the game, like, literally. Sooooo im gonna just ramble :3 Some things might be hard to read because of my bad handwriting, so I'm sorry 'cause i dont know how to write it properly :'3
This game is quite large, i dont mind, quite the opposite, I love that fact, almost the visual novels i had played before has been very shot but genuily good at the same. And this visual novel make me want to stay, indeen I need like three days to ended it, 'cause i don't want to just click the mouse and miss every word Myr says :3. I love Myr, like, I think at some point i genuily can be friend with him. Im an artist, I love draw, poetry, writing in general and music, so, He make me feel in home, in some way. And I dont care if he was just playing with me to gain all the power, I would make it again even knowing it :33333 'cause of what i think he is a 'good person' someone i could tell a secret. AAAAAND I LOVE THE FACTS HE RANDOMLY SAY, THE WAY HE JUST RAMBLE AND SAYS A LOT OF FACTS... i cant put it in words, but, this few days have been exhausty ones, so, having Myr to light my spirits, was very  thanksful. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I LOVE THE CREATOR OF THE GAME. creathor if u are seeing this commend, (I know i have bad ortography, im not very into inglish, but im doing an effor) CREATOR, THANK U VERY MUCH TO EXIST AND MAKE THIS GAME!!!!! i love your creation :3 i wish u luck and good thing..? so, take care of yourself :3 te amo mi amor <3 muchos exitos

(+2)

Little spoiler!! i guess..? When Myrddin says 'bout the knight with helmet, remind me the one from MonsterXMediator.. like.. the fact of the helmet and the purple think.. If it where intentional or not, it was funny (just the fact that it remind me this character, not the fact of what he did to Myr °°)

(+3)

please i cry abt him every day. i love him more than my life

(+2)

I'm stuck, I read all the books, asked all the questions, asked for jokes, etc etc. When I talk to him he says something along the lines of "Don't you want a joke?" Or "Wouldn't you rather do a quiz?" But the scrolling buttons have disappeared, and I can't do anything else.

(+2)

hey so i faced the same problem and u need to find the buttons and keep tryna click em. i hope i can be of help cz i was stuck for 40 mins

(+1)

I really appreciate the reply but it didn't help T-T, I keep either clicking the save button or the fact/joke buttons

My apologies for causing such an issue, and thank you very much for your patience!

Do you mean that your mouse inputs were not being registered initially, and that you had to try clicking multiple times before the small arrow buttons responded?

(1 edit)

Hey!

Apologies for the late reply and for the inconvenience!

When you say they “disappeared,” do you mean that the arrows shown in the image are completely missing?

As a possible immediate workaround, could you please try navigating using the “A” and “D” keys on your keyboard? These serve as alternative controls for navigating through the interaction choices.

Hi! No worries, thank you for the response. Yes, those buttons completely disappeared. I'll include an image in this comment if I can, so you can see what I mean. The interaction buttons like got bigger? Or went lower- one of those- and I can't find the arrows anymore. I tried A and D and the left and right arrow keys but neither worked.

Thank you for the image!

Alright, I do not believe this is actually an issue with the UI.

The buttons automatically adjust themselves depending on which interactions have been fully completed.

Once an interaction is finished, its corresponding option disappears, and if there is no longer any need for additional space on the left side, the navigation buttons will disappear as well.

I’m assuming that you already completed the quiz interaction. If you did not, please let me know, because normally Myrddin shouldn’t ask you to do the quiz if you have already completed it.

This is something you have already tried, but I will mention it just to be safe:

Selecting the “Talk” option should provide a hint regarding what to do next.

Try asking Myrddin for a joke. If he doesn’t currently want to tell one, try some of the other available interactions first and return to it afterward, until he feels like telling a joke.

Please let me know whether that allows you to continue, and if not, what sort of response you are getting!

(1 edit)

Ok, so when I press talk, he says, "Want a joke before anything else?"
And then when I press joke, he says, "As much as I'd love to bombard you with my whole repertoire, we have to pace ourselves."
Then I went for fact, and he says, "Believe me, I could go on for hours, but we should save some for later."
I went through all the advice, so there aren't even any more advice options.
And I've clicked through all the furniture in Explore. The only book option left is The Boy, the Youth and The Present, but of course he doesn't want to talk about that. There are no more questions to ask him except for the exploration and ambience questions. And he alternates between the joke and the quiz when I ask him to talk. Or he'll also mention an interesting fact he has to tell me. I already completed the quiz, so I'm not sure what else he wants from me.

This seems to be a little more complicated, because you have definitely already done more than what should normally be required to proceed.

Was there only one quiz you could access, or were there multiple options to choose from, such as riddles, fairy tales, and math?

(+2)

I binged the whole game in one sitting.. so here's some random thoughts I had while playing :D

Probably spoilers??

The game did a wonderful job at feeling very real! I think the reason of that is the option of choices and lack of choice in the game, either way the only thing to break my immersion was when I acted a certain way (setting a timer for like 5 mins and giving Myr some space when he asked for it, this happened more than once lol) and the game didn't have a reaction for it. I also did quit the game when asked to, but I do think it makes sense for nothing to have happened because I did still come back by choice and stay (This could also be cause I didn't play the downloaded version of the game? not sure).

Random notes:

- When Myr asked us if we liked our name, I wish I had the option of saying that I chose that name for myself which is the reason I like it

- I know it's not too important since it isn't very relevant, but I wish we could tell him if we were a guy/girl/other

- Whenever I saved the game I always wrote little notes to Myr, lol

- I didn't realize I had gained an arrow button at the bottom to select more options to do, so I got lost for a bit at one point

- Myr actually speaking in my second language was a fun surprise I wasn't expecting! It was cool of him to randomly say thank you in the language later on too, it made all my options feel much more important :)

- I literally grabbed a piece of paper when the man started asking math riddles lol, also Myr calling me out for getting all of his riddle section correctly and then the game trying to accusing me of cheating was silly lol

- I wish I could tell book man (I already forget his complicated name, oops) to stop talking lol, whenever he was like 'are you fine with being manipulated' I very badly wanted to let him know that I would very willingly free Myr even if he would end up destroying the world lol. Not that I think Myrddin would, but like I mean I'm already devoted lol

Anyways, I'm obsessed. Sending love to the man on the other side of the screen, can't wait to see more of him! <3

(+1)

The game is peak!! But does it has a voice and I am unable to hear it?^T-T

Much appreciated!

For the vast majority of the game, there is no voice acting.

The “voice” being referred to is the “mumbling” sound effect that accompanies dialogue. Its volume can be adjusted or muted entirely through the settings if you prefer not to hear it.

Warm regards!

(+1)

Oh! thanks I was worried I was missing something like that. It is really and incredible game <D

why I can't type my name :(

Hey!

Could you briefly describe what is happening that prevents that, as well as which platform you are playing on?

Warm regards!

está en españoll? o va estarlo?

(1 edit)

¡Hola!

¡Perdón si mi traducción no es muy buena! Por ahora, el juego solo está disponible en inglés. Las traducciones, como una versión en español, todavía no están planeadas.

¡Lo siento!

(+6)

Wow. This is genuinely world-class writing. I can't put into words how gripping, informative, hilarious, relatable, and well-advised it is and how delighted I was! Not to sound like Myrddin brag but I knew about every topic HEH; Interact with Me! is absolutely one of the best long conversations I've ever had/VN games I've played.

And that's not even touching on the story itself, the atmosphere, the art, the way it truly moved me--absolutely bravo for this masterpiece and I cannot wait for the next chapter.

100/10 recommend and ohmygodilovemyrddinsomuch~ what a well-written character to say the utter, utter least. Glazing deserved

(+1)

I need this for Android and in spanish (i love him)

(+3)

So I was rummaging in IWM to stave off my IWM urges. I haven’t played Chapter 4 yet. No way, right???

Bro

Anyhow, thank you for the new chapter! Always grateful for your hard work and story, and I’m glad to see so many people here being active in tmblr. Seeing IWM fanart from time to time warms my heart. I’m glad this story and ToMyself + the rest’s hard work are getting more recognition.

I’m really looking forward to what the future will bring with this game. I hope this community keeps growing too! So far, the fandom is pretty peaceful, and the occasional theories I see… haha… they’re always a delight to read. Thank you for your time and energy! It’s… a little concerning how most people are fawning over Myrddin-Myrddin, but at least bro is being loved and appreciated this time!… ahem ahem entity.

The fanarts are cute too; honestly, I hope I get some free time to play again… soon.

(2 edits) (+1)

There’s a crap ton of “cubes”, uh oh.

(+2)

I'm not done w the game yet, but I binged it for several hours yesterday and omgggg whoever was responsible for writing Myrddin has genuenly put a part of their soul in the game cuz he is so ... *real*.... he feels like an actual being. This is the first time I can say that I've genuenly been in love with a fictional character, and at the same time I relate to him so so much. As someone who stuggles with DPDR, he is like a reflection of me. Thank you for this amazing piece of fiction, I can't wait to progress further into the story!! <3

(+1)

hiii, I've been playing for like 3-4 hours and now he is on sitting in the corner and I keep interacting but like I don't progress much. Is it the ending or there is much left?

(1 edit)

Hey!

You will get a pop-up letting you know once you have reached the ending, so there is still some progress left!

Usually, when you press the “Talk” option, Myrddin will give you a hint about what to do next.

Alternatively, you can briefly explain where you currently are in the game, and perhaps I can help you that way!

Thank you for playing!

Warm regards!

(+3)

i binged this shit it's so good i can't wait for the final chapter

(+6)

He could literally kill me and I'd still be in love

(+4)

I'm so excited, I'M SO EXCITED!!!! Haven't had the chance to play until now and i'm literally shaking!!!!!! Oh boy, time to interact!!!

Uh, so, I might have slightly screwed up when making the titles for my safe files...And by slightly I mean majorly 0_0

While making the title for one of my most recent saves I wrote down "My boy :[" down for the title, and that triggered an error page, cause apparently the "[" triggered a code line and well ups

Probably will have to reset my data or maybe download the game since this error scene doesn't let me go trought my loads and saves but there is another thing as well btw.

Didn't get a picture of this one, but while Myrddin is sulking and around after the redish blackish picture of Myrddin myrddin starts asking for a story, but I didn't have any other stories for myrddin to read me, and any of the other option djdn't work as well so like...not sure what to do there lol

Sorry to bother, but I just wanted to talk about these two things, but I have been enjoying the story so far! so that's great :)

(2 edits)

No bother at all, and apologies for the inconvenience!

The naming issue has now been fixed, and names can also include non-letter characters.

As for the second report… admittedly, I was unable to pinpoint the exact scenario you described, but I made an adjustment based on what I assumed you meant.

For the fixes to take effect, you will need to download the game again.

I hope that was the problem, but if not, please do let me know!

(1 edit)

The save file issue is solved which yay :D

I honestly got kinda scared I had lost most of my safe files lol, so thanks for that

as for the second one I actually managed to document it this time! (I took a video but then I have no clue how to post in here so I took photos of the video!)

The Nevermind is from choosing the "story" category

I have tested all the other options and still have no clue have to go forwards lol.

Srry for the bother xd

(+1)

Kay, I found a way around it by asking more things, dunno if this a bug or I just got a little unlucky but at least is not game breaking! i will now proceed to continue playing and report any other bugs I find :

(+1)

btw ur drawing is super cute!!

Ah, thank you for pointing that out!

That was entirely my mistake.

To explain briefly, I accidentally confused something marked “IV” with “VI” and failed to notice the mismatch. Leading to the conditions that were set being swapped.

Thanks again!

(+5)

Im so excited and scared guys... BUT LETS GOOO

(+2)

new update means we get to see more of ze boy again :)))

--------THEORIES ------------
Faces (or lack of a face) and water are very important things in the story. The world outside the box is related to the five kingdoms and their lakes. A lake is a reflection of its ruler (that will tie into Myrddin's origins and why he was created). Currently, there are only four domains since the fourth one was destroyed.

Additionally, there are some encrypted messages and easter eggs in the game. However, I wasn't able to go through all the details and secrets in it.

### Entity:

He is the silhouette and the creator of Myrddin. Myrddin was supposed to be a reflection of the Entity/book/silhouette, but the process didn't work completely. The first book Myrddin mentions talks about him, and it is the same book referenced in the encrypted message, where we learn about the Entity/book/silhouette and how it was clear what he was because of "his eyes, his nose and his mouth." Exactly the features that Myrddin does not have, which further confirms that he is a failure.

Note: this information is in "The Song in the Depths" and the encrypted message in the game files.

Ebys seems to be the name of the inhabitants of the depths. The Entity/book/silhouette is not considered an Ebys but rather the "child of both worlds," which matches the fact that Myrddin needs the player's interaction to get power or energy, even though he is not part of the player's world. Myrddin was supposed to be that same child of both worlds, but he is defective. As we can see when we talk to the Entity/book/silhouette, he is way more powerful than Myrddin, yet does not need interactions to get his powers.

- But why would the Entity/book/silhouette create Myrddin at all?

In "The Song in the Depths," each lake was a monument to its domain, something the rulers were proud of. Similarly, the Entity/book/silhouette created Myrddin to be his reflection.

In "A Deal Struck," the Entity/book/silhouette was compelled by curiosity to strike a deal with a mysterious figure, who ended up tricking him. The process of creating a reflection didn't go according to plan.

- But why doesn't the Entity/book/silhouette simply destroy Myrddin?

As mentioned before, the Entity/book/silhouette is driven by curiosity but doesn't want to endanger reality or a large portion of people, so he keeps Myrddin stuck there and conducts his experiments. Perhaps the Entity/book/silhouette also has some kind of unconscious attachment to his creation, though it's hard to say with certainty for now.

- And why would the Entity/book/silhouette care about humans being destroyed?

Once Myrddin is released, he could end up destroy a whole domain.

In many of our interactions with the book, the Entity/book/silhouette says that he sees himself as an evil that needs to do good. Going off that idea, perhaps  he feels his actions of destroying a domain were necessary to balance the world. Notice that he didn't destroy all domains; he destroyed one, but four remained. He certainly had the ability to eventually destroy them all, but he didn't, although he left the other domains in terror.

However, another possibility is that the mysterious formally dressed figure who appears in "A Deal Struck" is  silhouette... He appears as a very powerful figure, but since the book was first introduced to Myrddin when he first came to the box, the book that talks about the silhouette may actually be talking about the Entity/book/silhouette himself, as mentioned before. Further supporting this is the fact that the mysterious figure's face is concealed with bandages, which goes against what the silhouette is known for: showing "his nose, his mouth and his eyes," the very traits that distinguish him from being an Ebys.

### Myrddin:

Since Myrddin is a "failure", he is not completely a "child of both worlds,"(from the song in the depths) meaning he does not get energy or power from the second world (the player's world) to be strong enough as an entity. He is different from the Entity/book/silhouette. Therefore, if released, he might be dangerous to the world; not being stable, he might absorb the energy around him to compensate for the fact that he cannot naturally produce or absorb energy by himself, unlike the Entity.

That is why he is so dangerous to the depths (name of the world outside the box) and why it is a risk for Myrddin to go outside. But that also means the player is very powerful, since the we are able to provide that energy for him. That is why it is a real risk for the player to be there, and why the Entity is worried about us being there.

However, it is not completely clear why the Entity tortures Myrddin. Since Myrddin doesn't have energy by himself, perhaps the Entity is testing how much of his own energy can regenerate himself, and how that works in his body, given that Myrddin is fundamentally different from the Entity.

### The box:

It is probably inside a lake in the depths, the world of the game. We were able to see an early version of this magical structure that Myrddin is stuck in when we saw "A Deal Struck." Myrddin's story, The Entity stored Myrddin in the box so he could be isolated from all other beings in the depths, preventing him from absorbing their energy or posing a risk to them.

However, since the player is stronger than that, we are able to free him. Perhaps that is what the formally dressed mysterious figure wanted all along, making that figure potentially the main villain of the story.

### Endings:

Aside from the early endings in which the player can simply give up on interacting with Myrddin, there will likely be at least two main ones: freeing Myrddin or not freeing Myrddin. There might be slight variations depending on whether we were honest and trustworthy with him. I'm assuming that if we trusted him and promised to help him, but then decided against it out of fear of destroying the depths, he will be particularly affected by that.

Perhaps this main moral dillemma: help someone who genuinely just wants to live a life without being tortured, or keep him stuck there because he poses a risk to the depths, not through any fault of his own, but simply because he is, as the book puts it, a "failure."

Perhaps there might also be an ending in which we convince or change the Entity, or perhaps even defeat him, so that the Entity no longer tortures Myrddin and his life inside the box becomes a little more "enjoyable"... Or at least somehow expanded. Which is probably unlikely to be such a better situation for Myrddin, though. However, the game might have a canonical ending, so we will have to wait and see what state of the world is actually referenced in possible future stories, if there are any.

The game folows Freytag’s Pyramid, so chapter 4 will be the "Climax" of the story. Meaning, our main strong choices regarding both the Entity and Myrddin wil be there.

Anyway, those were just theories... Game theories! Thanks for reading.

Note: Myrddin calling out those who theorize:

XD

(+2)

As always, reading through your thoughts is genuinely one of the highlights for me!

I hope the newly released chapter provides answers to some of your questions, confirms or challenges certain theories, and perhaps opens up entirely new directions that you hadn’t anticipated.

Since this chapter is fundamentally somewhat different from the previous versions, I am admittedly a little nervous about how it will be received.

Thank you again!

This is the only game that ever made me cry. I miss Myrddin. This is an amazing game, thank you for introducing this to me.

firstly its truly an amazing game and for now itll be the only not otome/amare game i have saved here on itch.io and considering i have a bit over 200 of those here it should say quite a bit but the way you let us grow closer to myrddin to grow fond of him to learn who he is as a person is just so well done and so enjoyable and im just really looking forward to more (bonus points bc some of the advice was genuinely good and with the listen part it got me to talk about something i really need to deal with so yeah kudos for that)

alalysis/thoughts/spoilers ok i need to write this down instead of just monologuing in my head im freeing myrddin and i want to deal with few of the points book entity brought up that i considered most important
  • firstly the argument of not acting by emotions and like no? i will be acting by emotions? like i will be using reason too but telling me to abandon emotions is just… yeah i dont feel like im in a position that requires cold logic and nothing else

  • secondly the manipulation and the question is myrddin manipulating us… probably? to some degree? how big of a degree i obviously cannot say but i cant exactly blame him for doing his best to not loose the first chance of freedom in gods know how long and if he is manipulating us he is frankly not the best at it sure some of the worldview questions building trust and affection sharing things that would be considered vulnerable perhaps faking the interferences and other stuff that i either forgot or did not think of are really things myrddin planned then yeah they’re good but quite frankly myrddin is not… conventionally likable? his personality and interests are not very suited to the whole scheme ofc some of it could be explained as not being perfect and therefore more human but a different personality would’ve worked much better or at least would’ve been much more likely to work all that is to say i believe myrddin when he says that he wants to stay true to himself and quite frankly that kinda makes me okayish with the manipulation bc if he created a whole personality for it id be much less eager to do it (id still do it but the point stands id say (also is this opinion influenced by me being an otome/amare player and being pissed off about yanderes which fake their whole personalities sometimes even change the way they look just bc they think it’ll work better? probably xd but i cannot be mad that he sometime steers the conversation or amplifies stuff so that we’re more likely to help him gain freedom )) <- i might’ve lost the point i was trying to make so in short if all he cared about was freedom he’d create a personality perfect for his “scheme” and adjust it accordingly to our responses which very much did not happen

  • thirdly i just think he deserves freedom as anyone does? and i have yet to hear any actual argument as for why he should not have it

  • fourthly it talks about imitation like its some kind of sin?? we all learn by imitation and for someone who learned only by books? its not that easy being a person when your only guidelines are books plus at the end of the day everything is inspired by something or is a different take on something and so on and so forth did myrddin teach himself how to be human by imitation and is his power in some way imitation sure and i see nothing wrong with that

  • fifthly it showed us what i assume was a extreme self harm or even suicide attempt?? and acted like pushing him to that point in search of freedom somehow means he shouldnt be freed????? like did i misunderstand something bc i genuinely cannot get what the point of showing us this was

  • and lastly i am very much petty and the whole talk about myrddin being imperfect, being a failure, being defective pisses me off there was no talk about myrddin being dangerous and stuff just oh he had a purpose and still isnt what he was supposed to be and that just sounds like all those parents that imagine their children’s whole life before they’re even born and then get pissed off when the child is an actual person

quite frankly i think if the book appeared at the very beginning or close to it id free him out of spite (and once again i have yet to hear any actual reason for myrddin to not be freed)
