Chat is Cooked is a streamer overlay game currently in public beta, featuring:

• Hands-on chatter interaction: Click and drag chatters around the screen. Toss them, pin them in place, drop them into props, or otherwise demonstrate the consequences of their actions.
• Customizable chatter appearances: Use the included collection of avatars, let chat switch appearances with commands, or allow viewers to use their Twitch profile pictures.
• Effects and status styles: Boil, supersize, freeze, magnetize, launch, spin, burn, explode, or otherwise inconvenience your chatters.
• Role-based styling: Give subscribers, moderators, and VIPs their own persistent visual effects and appearances.
• Chat bubbles: Optionally display chat messages next to their chatter, with support for Twitch emotes and customizable display timing and text styling.
• Custom reaction rules: Trigger effects and actions from chat messages, channel point rewards, bits, subscriptions, keybinds, and more.
• Ready-to-use defaults: Connect your Twitch account and start cooking immediately, or edit the included reactions to suit your stream.
• Polls and chat voting: Run polls that chat can vote on through reaction rules, then use those votes to trigger effects, teleport chatters, or control stream activities.
• Flexible stream overlay: Resize and reshape the window to fit your layout. The background appears transparent in OBS when captured with Game Capture and transparency enabled.
• Streamer-friendly controls: Hide individual chatters or automated accounts, control how they respawn, and configure editable shortcuts for frequently used tools.

Scene Building and Interactive Props

Build Mode lets you construct your own interactive overlay scenes directly inside the game:

• Place, move, scale, rotate, recolor, and remove props.
• Use grid snapping, keyboard adjustments, scroll-wheel scaling, and Tab selection for precise placement.
• Add pinball flippers, bumpers, ramps, springs, liquid-filled jars, tables, shelves, a witness stand, a working balance scale, and more.
• Draw collision lines and blocks to create custom floors, walls, platforms, and obstacles.
• Add customizable effect zones that apply effects when chatters enter them.
• Place named Chatter Spots for reaction-controlled teleportation.
• Save complete scene layouts—including their window size and settings—with preview thumbnails.
• Load the included Default, Chat is Pinball, and Judgement layouts, or build your own.
• Add community-made avatars and props through the content-pack system, with support for additional content types as development continues.

Interactive Stream Games

• Control pinball flippers using configurable keys.
• Launch chatters with bumpers, springs, ramps, iron balls, and other physical props.
• Use polls and reactions to move viewers between destinations or involve them in stream decisions.
• Pick up a chatter and use them as the target of a keybound reaction.
• Combine reactions, effects, props, polls, and teleport destinations to create your own chat-controlled activities.

Known Issues

• Teleport reactions may need to be reconfigured if the Chatter Spot they reference is removed from a layout.
• Applying a new effect can replace an existing effect without considering effect priority or potency.
• This is still a beta. Some combinations of custom props, reactions, window shapes, and Twitch behavior may produce unexpected results—which is admittedly very on-brand.
