Hey, congrats on 3k+ downloads in two weeks, that's seriously strong traction, especially in the VN space. And nice timing launching the Discord now too, way easier to set a community up properly from day one than try to reorganize it later once it's grown.

Since it's brand new, have you already got a structure in mind for the server, channels, roles, onboarding, that kind of thing? I actually help with Discord setup for devs, happy to share a few ideas on structuring it in a way that scales well as more people join, especially with you already spread across jams and gaining traction fast.

Hey, just went through your dev notes, the cross hatching shader and new card binding visuals are a really nice touch, that kind of polish goes a long way in a deckbuilder where presentation matters so much for readability and feel.

Noticed you're also part of the Feedback Quest streamer jam too, smart move for a card game like this. Are you doing anything on the video side to build on that streamer exposure, clips, trailers, that kind of thing? With how visually distinct Bound Together's getting with these updates, feels like there's a lot of potential to turn that streamer attention into short-form content too.

Congratulations on getting the fully voiced update out! Having both the base game and the DLC voiced is a huge milestone, and I love that you voiced the demo too as a thank you to players. Lorenn and Quinn sound like they got a perfect cast, and it's lovely that you gave every VA a proper shout out. "How close is too close to a man that's half dead" is such a fun hook for a ghost romance.

Quick question, is the game on Steam too, or is itch the only home for it so far?

I love the idea of a Curupira as a romance option! Flaming hair, protecting the forest, it's a great idea, and it's nice to see Brazilian folklore in a game. A psychological romance and mystery at a monster camp is already a fun premise, and posting in three languages shows you want more people to enjoy it. I also noticed you updated Android twice in one day, nice work.

One question: are you thinking about a Steam release as the project grows?

That's great news, and November is perfect timing. The Steam page is the most important thing to get right before launch, because the first wishlists usually decide how visible the game is later.

At [@MikeJara], we help indie devs launch their games: Steam page setup and wishlist strategy, trailers, short-form video, social media, and Discord communities. For a hook like yours (Zelda-style exploration with spellcasting), a short trailer showing the spellbook unlocking would work really well on a store page.

We'd love to put together a free sample for you, like a 20 to 30 second teaser or a Steam page checklist, so you can see if it's a fit. Could we send it over here, or is there a better way to reach you, like Discord or email? Either way, we're excited to see this one launch!

[@MikeJara]

Zelda with WoW-style spellcasting is such a good hook, honestly sold me right away. Love that you're keeping the sword too. Spells hidden in chests that unlock in the spellbook is a great reason to explore every room. Quick question: for the spring release, are you planning itch only, or are you aiming for a Steam page too?

Hey, thanks for getting back to me. I joined the server and had a look around. I can see what you currently have set up, and I already have a few ideas for how the structure could be made easier for new players to navigate as the community grows.

I’d be happy to point out what I’d change and how I’d structure it around the game’s current stage.

Hey there, I came across youe game today, and  I am impressed by what you are building, the style and the direction feel really different from most other indie titles I have come across,

What stage are you currently with game development right now?

Hey, I really like what you're building with the game. One thing that could be useful as you grow the community is having a properly structured Discord server ready for players before the game gets more attention.

I’m MikeJara, and I help indie game developers set up and organize Discord communities around their games.

If I handled the setup, I’d take care of the full structure, including:

• Creating and organizing the server channels
• Setting up sections for announcements, game updates, community chat, feedback, bug reports, and support
• Creating a dedicated space for players to share screenshots, clips, suggestions, and discussions
• Setting up roles for admins, moderators, testers, community members, and other relevant groups
• Configuring permissions so private staff areas are protected while players have easy access to the community
• Setting up welcome and onboarding channels so new members immediately understand where to go
• Creating rules and server guidelines
• Setting up useful bots for moderation, verification, notifications, and community management where needed
• Connecting your game or social platforms to the Discord so important updates can reach the community
• Organizing the server so it looks professional rather than feeling like a collection of random channels

I can also structure it around your game's development stage, whether you're preparing for a demo, building a player community, collecting feedback, or getting ready for launch.

If you already have a Discord, I can also reorganize and improve the existing server instead of starting from scratch.

If you're interested, I can take a look at what you currently have and suggest a structure that would fit your game.

That’s actually great, having the Discord already set up gives you a solid foundation.

With Steam Next Fest coming up this month, I’m curious how you’re planning to use the event to get more players discovering and trying the game. Are you already working on a promotion plan for it, or would you be open to a few suggestions?

The reason I ask is that Next Fest can be a strong visibility opportunity, especially if the game is being actively pushed before and during the event. I’d focus on:

• Promoting the game across relevant gaming communities and Discords
• Creating short-form videos that highlight the strongest parts of the game
• Driving interested players toward your Steam page and demo
• Using your Discord to turn interested players into an active community
• Sharing updates, clips, event reminders and demo content consistently
• Encouraging players to try the demo, join the Discord and follow the game
• Keeping the momentum going after Next Fest instead of letting the attention drop

Your Discord can actually become the place where all that traffic is converted into a community around the game.

If you’re open to suggestions, I can also take a look at what you already have planned for Next Fest and point out a few things I’d improve.
