HONK HONK, HEAR YE. I have created a goose for your desktop.
He'll nab your mouse, track mud on your screen... leave you a message, deliver you memes?
Play video games with a desktop buddy who will attack you if you poke him.
Fill out spreadsheets while your screen fills up with instances of Goose Notepad.
Supports MacOS versions 10.10+!

- Adds an official mod to let Desktop Goose play in leaf piles! See autumn.txt in the files for more!
*Mac doesn't support mods yet. Wait for 2023. :)
0.3 UPDATE:
- NEW, OFFICIAL MODDING API! Join the discord discord.gg/xZFRmPT and check the #goose-mods channel for more info on this :D
- YOUR OWN NOT-EPAD TEXTS! Add whatever notepad phrases you want, and the goose will pull them up!
- NEW CONFIG TOGGLES! Customize the goose's behaviour further, silence the audio, and more!
From 0.2+:
- Unlimited memes! Put whatever memes you want in the assets folder! Goose will bring them.
- Added GIF support!
- Config the goose! Alter properties in the config.goos file (open it in Notepad) to adjust his aggression!)

Hi, So, a quick guide for this
if you go in Config, you can change certain things, you can also close the goose by going in it's files and running "Close_Goose"
you can also run DesktopGoose multiple times for more gooses.

1: hold escape, 2: yes, its mainly capable of capturing the mouse and opening windows

no, this isn't a virus, it just acts like one, but doesnt do anything.
data wise no but this little demon wouldn't stop holding onto my mouse pointer i had to open up terminal on mac just to kill the application
no linux :( lol i get it theres like 1000 linux distros
.appimage and flatpak/hub exist.
No mods on Mac is a bummer, and I wish I could prevent the goose from dragging in new windows. Closing them is one thing, but my mouse cursor getting stolen when I close them goes from "haha geese suck that's silly" to making the desktop pet entirely unusable because of the frequency in which the goose does this. The config file should be capable of disabling that behavior.

You have to change the config thing in notepad to say EnableMods=True (line 3) and save it
