The driver is on the roof. β€Œ The car goes in reverse. β€Œ And there’s no steering wheel.

...Hah???

Pick your car and try to drive as far as you can without crashing, earn more money, and buy new cars to discover even weirder ways to control them.

—————-

🀨 First of all... why is the driver on the roof? 🀨

Because at some point, you have to break free from the rules set by the reptilian overlords running the world. 🦎

—————-

So... how am I supposed to drive this thing?

Steering wheel? Nope.  Pedals? Nope.  We only have one handle.

This 3D handle controls pretty much everything:

⬆️ Forward β†’ Accelerate

⬇️ Backward β†’ Slow down / Brake

β¬…οΈβž‘οΈ Left & Right β†’ Steer

βœ‹ Let go β†’ Slam on the brakes!

I came up with this control scheme for mobile to see how well driving with something that looks absolutely nothing like a steering wheel would actually work.

❓ NOW YOU TELL ME ❓

Did you get used to it, or are you still looking for the steering wheel???

125 cars. 125 times you have to figure out where the driver decided to sit.

There are 29 car models, and 24 of them come in 5 different colors.

...But it’s not just the color that changes...

Every single one of the 125 cars has the driver positioned differently on the roof — from completely normal-looking setups to positions that make you wonder how the driver hasn't fallen off yet.

From big, heavy vehicles to fast and ordinary cars, pick your ride and choose whether you want to drive carefully or weave through traffic and hope you don't hit anything.

πŸ” What's Next? πŸ”Ž

This is my first game to make it to release, and it's probably also the last mobile game I'll make.

I have a lot of ideas for future projects — from small and weird experiments to ideas that would require a team and a lot more resources to bring to life.

But before I move on to those, I'm going to put an old Prototype from one of my bigger projects on itch.io.

It was supposed to be a Multiplayer horror game — a mix of genuine scares and funny situations.

The version I'm releasing is just a Prototype of the original idea; a small glimpse of what this project could have become.

Maybe one day, it'll become more than just a Prototype. πŸ‘€

"By the way, since you also make games, what do you think if we connect and support each other? We could help if someone runs into a bug or share cool ideas. Who knows, maybe one day we'll become famous indie developers!"

Reminds me a lot of Turbo Dismount wish it could be played as a full screen

Haha watching some videos of it definitely gave me some ideas πŸ˜‚ Having similar ragdoll physics and damage mechanics could make the game way more fun

Are you playing on an Android emulator?

That's awesome! I totally agree, original ideas make indie games so special. By the way, I'm an indie developer too, currently exploring and learning game creation. It's really cool to connect with passionate creators like you!"

Yeah I really love that about indie games too πŸ€©πŸ˜‹ I think being able to try new and weird ideas is one of the best things about making indie games
Hope you find your favorite style and have a lot of fun making your own games

That's awesome! Seven months of hard work really paid off, the effort shows. By the way, what game engine did you use to make it?"

Thanks 😁 I made it with Unity
I really enjoy making games with new ideas, or at least ideas I havent seen before Hopefully one day my itch.io page is full of interesting and original games πŸ˜„

can you make a web browser version?

Thanks for the suggestion ❀️
It’s not really in my plans right now. With limited time and the performance risks of running a game like this in a browser, I’d rather spend my time on my next idea and project for now.

If I get a chance later, I might look into making a lighter web version as a demo.  πŸ˜‰
