I like the concept, but I wasn't a big fan of the game.
First of all, WAY too much talking. And it's talking where nothing happens. Like yes, we get that it's a generically spooky town with standoffish townsfolk and fishermen disappearing. That's been a standard since Lovecraft.
But then once you get to the gameplay, it's like 7 minutes of boring fishing ending in the most predictable ending and a jumpscare.
The storyteller didn't add anything. The protagonist was an idiot for no reason other than to force the ending. Nothing interesting happened.
The production quality was great, but there's really no point in having good VA and atmosphere if there's no good game or story behind it.
This was so much fun to play through. Got a bit of Tales of the crypt vives. Creepy and humorous at times. Loved the fishing, although, it could be fun to catch the big bad fish as well! Maybe in the full game? Looking forward to the full game and playing the other stories. See my playthrough here:

This game is already a GEM! A 5 STAR REVIEW FROM ME. This game is a whole new Horror experience that I've never had while playing Indie Horror Games. If you are an avid Horror Fan, you MUST play this game and especially if you loved Tales From The Crypt. The game gave me a constant reminder why I love that show. I give this demo 5 stars because it truly had me hooked from the start. The story, The art, the music, the acting, all was STELLAR! It ran smooth. The only thing and it may have been my PC but the voices were dropping on certain lines every once in a while.

The demo is really cool. I thought it would be a horror-comedy game, but no, I think it’s going to have a very dark story and some shady stuff behind it. I’d release it on Halloween.

Spooky Tales has completely hooked me! I absolutely love the cinematic style and the overall "Tales from the Crypt" vibe that the undead host brings to the experience.
Playing through this demo was so much fun. The voice acting is absolutely perfect, and the ocean fishing mechanic is surprisingly engaging and fun to play. It perfectly builds up to a nice, creepy cliffhanger that leaves you wanting more.
I had a blast with this teaser and genuinely can't wait for the full game to drop!

Very cool concept with the Crypt Keeper style. I will say the opening in the bar was a bit dull, but i like the overall concept.

There is only one game in this demo, The Abyss-Borne, and it is very monotonous, dull and boring.

It will be an entirely different game tbh. The tale in Spooky Tales will be way more Narrative, while the original game was a suvival horror.
