itch.io

Hi there, i really like this 3d tile map generator.  I wanted to reach out to see if you would kind enough to donate a free download key to GDKO 2027? Its an annual knock out game jam I run on itch.

Obviously your product would feature on the jam page and in my discord and videos.

 Thanks for considering my request.

🤔🤨

Ah ok. That makes sense. Well done im expecting to be featuring this one in the top 10 of the next video 👍

Very good entry! Played for a good while. QTEs are sharp and there is a great variety too. Movement is smooth and I love the voice acting. I completed the boss stage and my character changed shape but it wasn't too clear why, I would imagine it has something to do with the multi function of the levels. It would be hard not to place this one in the top 10.

very good game. I got 8th :)

really solid entry!

well done. Looks amazing. It's fun and a great take on the task. my fingers were a mess all over the keyboard LOL

Took me a few goes to get the hang of it but it's really fun when you get how to play. The light dimming is really stressful haha

Just tried it. It's A/D to select and X to play

very interesting.

Ok thanks for confirming 👍

hello, did you make this during the GDKO jam period? It looks like you may have made it prior to the Jam.

Hello Shane, on futher inspection it appears you did create this prior to the jam as you have a screen shot of your project the day before the jam started. Please do feel free to take part but you must make something during the jam timeframe.

Did you create this prior to the jam stating? The info on the page says 1st Jan and you joined a matter of hours prior to submitting. It looked like you were trying to promote your product. Did you read the jam page or watch the video? Its very clear on the task. If im wrong please resubmit, i am just trying to keep the jam clear of spam as it is a 4 round knock out competition and I would hate to see insincere submissions knock out people who wanted to take part.

who meant that?

you can make just the character screen. You can make a full game. You can make a sample game. My advice would be to read the judging criteria and make something you feel does well in all categories.

yes any engine is fine

Hello my friend. GDKO is a solo jam but please do consider joining solo :)

Found it. I'll definitely be giving this a play through.

If you make a devlog during the competition you can drop it here.

no worries. Thanks for taking part. There is always next year 👊

hello. Unfortunately you didn't qualify from round 1. Therefore you aren't able to continue in the competition.  You needed to rank 106 or better in round 1 to progress to round 2. You are welcome to join again next year.

Please stop spamming your game into game jams.

Jan 31st Youtube video will reveal all. I'll email everyone via itch too. Join the discord for real time updates and notifications on when everything drops.

Hello, I am going to disqualify this game from GDKO 2025 as it was made prior to the jam starting.

the task was to create a core mechanic and a secondary mechanic that can be used for progression. If you made a game with more then 2 mechanics I'm not sure how this will be rated. The judging questions are on the itch page and this is what people will be raring your game against. Good luck.

You have submitted 2 games to GDKO round 1. Please remove one game and confirm that you made the remaining game during GDKO round 1 and how it fits the task. Thanks, sorry to ask but lots of people spam games into Jams :(. If neither game was made for GDKO round 1 please remove both.

Did you make this game for GDKO round 1?  It looks as though it was made prior which would mean you can't enter it. If you didn't make this specifically for round 1 please can you remove it.

Please dont spam your game into game jams.

Please stop spamming your games into game jams. Sadly I have had to remove all your game :(

This entry will unfortunately be removed from GDKO as it was clearly made prior to the jam and has nothing to do with the round 1 task.

people are allowed to play test your game. If you arent yet part of the discord, join. There are plenty of people there who will play test and give feedback.

Take a look at the 5 judging criteria questions. This will help you. You need a secondary mechanic as this relates to a question in judging. You wont be marked down if you add more but it wont necessarily help you score higher.

Please stop spaming your games into game jams. Its very frustrating for the people who host them.
