1. Choices carry over to the sequel. There is a short quiz at the beginning to set your choices.

2. There are not multiple endings. There are different ways to get there, but the ending stays the same 

I honestly have no idea. From a quick google, your phone settings might be blocking javascripts from loading? I'd look up a tutorial on how to change that depending on the phone you're using and try again.

A lot of variables have been changed and simplified for book 2. I'm not sure I'm willing to go back and rework the code for everything when I could literally just be writing the actual story. 

I appreciate your interest in this and if you have the information to send me I'll take a look at it and go from there.

I'd be up for the help if you really want to do that. I know next to nothing about coding and I'm always afraid of messing up what i already have functioning.

Scrolling to the bottom of the save menu and choosing "save on disk" will save the game to your actual device instead of just your browser's local storage, so you won't have to replay the whole thing each time.

In the labyrinth you can choose to go to the center of the labyrinth or "cheat" by going over a broken section of wall onto a different path

No you can't. The UI shows the option, but it doesnt function

There wasn't an option to lock in the Kestrels romance path in book 1. Just choose neither.

I'll continue looking into a future save system. I need to know a little more about code than I do right now, though. I wanted to try to incorporate something for book 2, but I couldn't get it to work the way I wanted it to. 

As for how the choices will be implemented, there will be two options at the beginning: you can read a recap of the events of book 1 and answer questions about your choices and then there's the short recap that's questions only.
