The problem apparently only occurs after opening the options menu. It is definitely a bug. I tested the standard HD version. After that, the game can no longer be played correctly, even with the keyboard. We look forward to taking another look at the final version of the game once all the bugs have been fixed. So, this isn't a final verdict yet—just a preview for now.
Yes, we are a press portal and online radio station dedicated to videogame- and chiptune music. Unfortunately, I only had access to the demo version available here. However, we would be happy to take another look at the game if we can get the appropriate access—provided it fits into the schedule for our next livestream in October. The list of new games and reviews is always very long, so we constantly have to make compromises and weigh up what to feature in our livestreams. 🙂

Finally, a sports game in olympic style! Now all that’s missing is a saveable highscore & statistic feature and some gameplay fine-tuning. Even so, the game is already making a good impression—at least in some of the events. However, it still has a long way to go to match the addictive quality typical of Epyx games. Hopefully, the final game will feature head-to-head or even 4 player competitions via 4-player adapter. There is still so much potential there. Our German-language preview can be found at 05:43:30. Fantastic and innovative puzzle game—just the thing for techies and tinkerers like us. It serves as yet another reminder that Amigas with leaking capacitors should be placed in capable hands. Fantastic platformer that already makes an incredibly good impression visually. Unfortunately, it isn't really playable yet, as you can either jump or shoot, but not do both at the same time during gameplay. Changing the settings in the menu didn't help, either. Great platformer that also has plenty to offer on a technical level. It is strongly reminiscent of "Arabian Nights" from the same production year. The graphics and smooth scrolling hold their own against games from publishers of that era, such as Core Design. Awesome game that is strongly reminiscent of Wing Commander. Truly good space games of this caliber are rarely seen on the Amiga, but this is one of them. It is just a shame that the joystick controls cannot be reconfigured or inverted. Otherwise, however, it is a fantastic game with a great sense of speed and highly atmospheric, high-quality cutscene videos. Our German-language review can be found at 04:00:52. A few more graphical effects and textures would have been nice—for instance, on the terrain or the cars. Perhaps even up-to-date shadows, screen-space reflections, or even ray tracing effects for modern DirectX 12 graphics cards. After all, it doesn't have to rival "Forza Horizon 6", given that the scope is limited to Lotus vehicles. We’re curious to see what else is possible. 😊
Awesome remake! This is exactly—or very close to—how the game would have looked on a potential CD32 successor, had Commodore not gone bust and instead developed reasonably capable 3D hardware that could hold its own against the competition. What we liked best was the ability to use our own MP3s and internet radio stations. Now you can listen to our station while driving through one of the greatest Amiga classics. Great "Burning Rubber" clone that surpasses the original in many ways while still retaining its charm. You don't always need the latest graphics and sound engines, as long as the gameplay is fun.
