i dont make very smooth animations, so most of them are like 100 frames at 7 or 8 fps, and i know my audio is timed right, is there a way to see if my audio was acctually in the animatio?
when in the menu with all of the color and options for drawing, select the third row down, second from the leftbutton, then you should see a spinning rainbow crosshair when you try and draw again, that means you can draw.
Yo, i think you should make a version for Android. I normally pirate stuff to my crappy Samsung cuz 99% of the time Google Play glitches and doesn't let me install stuff. still tho make an android port i beg ye
Ive been using this (together with paperclip) to do quick animations to send to my friends as replies on Discord, thanks for making this!! It's so much fun using it ❤️⭐
Hey! I've been enjoying this app a lot` the features are very intuitive to me and the progress I'm making in my art is teaching my some cool concepts. One issue I seem to have though is that everything I exit the app after I'm done with my work for the day, and then reopen it, the audio is desynced with the project. Not sure why that happens- I've tried moving the folder from appdata to downloads back to appdata but it seems like the issue still persists :p.
(the project still has the same number of frames regardless, 872, so I wonder why the desync is happening?)
I've also tried reuploading the .ogg file but that doesn't seem to help, argh. I guess I could just never close the app until I'm done with my project? but idk how realistic that is.
It figured itself out. its just a loading thing lol.
My next question is that the sounds of the drawing features come out through my laptop speakers, not my headphones, and idk why that is. Tinkering around with audio settings right now but to no avail EDIT: nevermind, figured it out too
Love this program! its intuitive and aesthetic! but I wonder? Is undo coming in the next update? or is there a way to quickly swap to a larger eraser than the pen, like if I want to draw in size 0 but erase in size 27 just to quickly delete the last line I did thats ALOT of key presses or menus to switch. either or both these feature would be so helpful for sketching.
Please add an undo/ctrl z function a better copy and paste function, a color wheel, and also an option for especific windows, or make the program’s design more intuitive, like paint tool sai or photoshop. I really wanna to see this program become a functional animation software in the future.
for the colour wheel and a design like paint, I think that they are never coming, it's supposed to be like Flipnotestudio not paint, flipnote studio was even more limited than Clipnote
The program itself is good, but it's a shame that it hasn't received any updates since 2019. I would really like it if you could go back to the drawing using CTRL+Z. I really enjoyed using the program, but I'm sad to know that it's been 6 years since it received any updates.
i dont do it (well used to cuz i do it on flipnote on a dsi but come here to help others) i download the file as a gif, converty it into an mp4 file through an online converter, then if you have any sound i reccomend putting them into a video editing software like clipchamp ( what i use to edit) to combine the audio (optional) and the video together into one
I have a problem with the program, is that when entering does not draw anything, nor does it delete anything, it is as if it does not detect the click of the mouse or graphic tablet :c
try clicking tab and when then clicking the pen button then going back in and trying it then because if the cursor isnt a sort of spinning rainbow dot and lines then you cant draw with it
nah calcuim_chan said that they woont be contuining this program, i sent a dm to them on discord asking to open source the code but i havent had a reply ye
The funny thing is I got clip note studio cuz I REALLY needed flipnote. but then I figured how to install a DSi emulator so now I have flipnote on my Mac 😭 I still use clip note more tho
You could download krita (it's free and open source) and install flipnot_dx and flipnot 2 brushkits by sabs. They're available here on itch for $3 each.

weird, i have used clipnote for over half a year and iv never had that other than 1 file on an editing pc

calcuim stopped development on this thing, it wa just like for fun but he did update it for a while but stopped in like 2019, sorry bout that.

An easy way is to SAVE and then use Paperclip it's on itchio

what is the length limit for sound files?
i dont think there is one as the longest anmimation iv made is about 40 secs long but i think it depends on file size but idk
